What is it?
This largely natural stone house consists of three floors. The first floor has a surface of approximately 115 m² and consists of a kitchen, a bathroom, two modest bedrooms and a living room. This floor is more or less habitable but does not meet today’s living requirements. The second floor is approximately 65 m² and is an open space. This floor is not habitable. Under part of the house is a storage area. The exterior of the house has recently been plastered and painted again.
Water, light and sewage are already available. Most old wooden window frames have been replaced by aluminum frames with coating and double glazing.
The plot consists of approximately 800 m² of land with terraces, olive trees and some fruit trees. The ground and the house offer unobstructed views over the village of Vila Cova de Alva.
Where is it?
The house is located on the edge of the village of Vila Cova de Alva. The accessibility is good via a paved road. In Vila Cova de Alva are a few amenities such as a few cafes and a grocery shop. Côja is about 7 kilometers away. This lively village has various facilities such as shops, bakery, bank, post office, restaurants, ambulance post and a river beach. Tábua, Oliveira do Hospital and Arganil are about 17 km away. In these small provincial towns, all important facilities are present such as restaurants, shops, supermarkets, post office, banks, doctors´ practice, schools, library and weekly market. The larger cities of Coimbra and Viseu are approximately 75 km and 65 km away respectively.
