What is it?
This detached house was built in the 80s. Recently, part of the house has been renovated, with the ground floor becoming an independent housing unit. On this floor there is a kitchen, a large living room with bar, two bedrooms, a bathroom and a storage room. You reach the first floor through a separate entrance. This unit consists of a kitchen, a living room, two bedrooms and a bathroom. An internal staircase leads to the attic, with two more bedrooms, a toilet with sink and a sitting space. The registered living space of the house is approximately 178 m² (not including the attic). Behind the house are also a large shed, a carport and a bread oven. The registered area is 60m².
What about the facilities?
The house is connected to electricity, water and the municipal sewage system. A private well serves to irrigate the garden. On the ground floor is a fireplace with a built-in cassette and on the first floor is a pellet stove. Internet runs via ADSL but there are other options too. Where is it?
The house is just outside the town of Carregal do Sal. It is easily accessible via a quiet paved road. Carregal do Sal is a small provincial town with all important facilities such as shops, post office, banks, restaurants, first aid, schools, weekly market and a train and bus station. The larger cities of Viseu and Coimbra are approximately 35 and 50 km away respectively.
