Well maintained quinta with house (2 bedrooms) and land of 1.5 ha, Vilela, Oliveira do Hospital, Coimbra, Oliveira do Hospital
What is it?
This well-kept house has a robust granite base where, it is said, the bread used to be baked for the neighbourhood. Now it is a comfortable home where old is combined with new. In the old part is the kitchen (with induction plate) with a large original fireplace and a bathroom (shower). A spacious living room is reached through a corridor with an inbuilt closet, with doors opening onto the covered terrace. There is a bedroom above the living room and the second bedroom is reached via a fixed staircase. The house was enlarged in 2014, with a nice, light garden room with patio doors attached, which currently serves as a atelier/workshop. A second bathroom (shower) has also been created. Behind the house is a white goods room. The living area is about 100 m2, without counting the covered terrace.
What about the facilities?
The house is connected to electricity and mains water. It also has its own water through a well and two water sources that have always given water. Internet is currently wireless but fiber is within reach. The roof, the new walls and the floor of the 2014 expansion are insulated. All windows have double glazing. The house is heated with two wood-burning stoves and a fireplace with a built-in cassette. Hot water is obtained through a gas heater.
Any outside space?
The house is on a plot of approximately 1.5 hectares. The plot consists of beautiful flat terraces with granite walls. An ornamental garden with fruit trees surrounds the house. The rest of the plot is agricultural land on which olive trees grow, among other things.
The house is sold including furniture, amongst which a ceramic oven. The house is therefore ready to move in.
Where is it?

Oliveira do Hospital and Tábua are approximately 10 km away. These are small provincial towns where the most important facilities are present such as shops, post office, banks, small hospital (Oliveira do Hospital), schools and weekly market. The larger cities of Coimbra and Viseu are 60 km and 50 km respectively.
